Born in Shanghai and raised in Quito, Ecuador, Nancy went on to receive her B. Arch from Cornell and her M. Arch from Harvard. Nancy has designed commercial and residential projects in both New York and Quito, including several Michelin star rated restaurants. Prior to founding Hou de Sousa, Nancy worked in New York at Kohn Pedersen Fox, Slade Architecture, and Stephanie Goto Design.
Born and raised in Massachusetts, Josh also received his B. Arch at Cornell and M. Arch at Harvard. He has designed residential, educational, and commercial projects, including the sustainable project GreenPix, in Beijing, as well as the new Cornell school of architecture facility, Milstein Hall. Before founding Hou de Sousa, Josh worked at Skidmore Owings & Merrill, Joel Sanders Architect, and Office for Metropolitan Architecture.
